Eternity: Where will you spend it?

There is only two places to spend eternity Lets examine these two places before you decide where you would like to spend ETERNITY!

The first place is Hell: Jesus Christ spoke more on hell than any other subject in the scriptures.

Hell is descibed as a place for the "lost" (Those who have never been Born Again) those that reject Jesus Christ and The Blood he shed on Calvary for the sins of the world.

Hell is Real: It is a literal burning fire, A place of torments, outer darkness, Everlasting punishment, A place Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. A place that the rich man so vividly described in Luke 16:19-31, In Verses 23-24 we can see that in hell he still had his eyes and could see and still had his tongue and could taste and speak as he was in hell as in his words "I am tormented in this flame".  In Verses 27-28 He now realized Hell is Real and asked Abraham to send Lazarus to his family "lest they also come into this place of torment". And in Verse 30 we see that he knew that the only way to keep from going to hell is to Repent. "And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent". Now look at Abraham's response in Verse 31 "And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead".  My friend there was one that rose from the dead on the third day, Christ Jesus arose Victoriously and has the keys of death, hell, and the grave. He died to give his life a ransom for many. So that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. He died for sinful man that they which are Born Again may live and spend Eternity in Heaven with Holy God.

The second place is Heaven: Heaven is totally opposite from Hell, Heaven is a place of everlasting bliss, A place of Joy Luke 15:7-10 Rest Rev. 14:13 Peace Luke 16: 19-25 Righteousness 2 Peter 3:13, Service Rev. 7:15 Reward Matt. 5:11-12 Inheritance 1 Peter 1:4, Glory Rom. 8:17-18.  Heaven is described asGod's House: Jesus Christ himself said in John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. A Kingdom Matt. 25:34, as Abraham's Bosom Luke 16:22-23, Paradise 2 Cor. 12:4 Luke 23:43, Rev. 2:7, A Better country Heb. 11:10-16, A Holy City Rev. 21:2, Rev. 21:10-27  Rev. 22:1-5Things not in HeavenMarriage Matt. 22:30, Death Luke 20:36, Flesh and Blood 1 Cor. 15:50, Incorruption  1 Cor. 15:42,50 Sorrow Rev. 7:17, Pain Rev. 21:4, Curse Rev. 22:3, Night Rev. 22:5, Wicked People Rev. 22:15, And there shall never be an End Matt. 25:46, Rev. 22:5,  Jesus Christ himself said in John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. This is just a few of the details we have about this place Jesus is preparing for us those that have been Born Again.   And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. Rev. 21:21,  A pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. The tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, Rev. 22:1-2 Apostle Paul referring to Isaiah 64:4 said in 1 Cor. 2:9   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Heaven is full of God's glory.

Well Friends now that we've had a closer look at Heaven and Hell it's time to make your  decision: Where will you spend Eternity? The offer still stands, But time is running out, 2 Corinthians 6:2 behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Friend you have not the promise of tommorow, Jesus Said in Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Romans 6:23:For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
